soldat.exe keylogger?
« on: August 29, 2007, 11:07:39 am »
well I heard of people wanting to steal a registration key etc..

And my Kaspersky's proactive defence tells me soldat.exe to be a keylogger. I blocked the part wich was sending information to the internet, and soldat is still working fine.

Does this mean I've got a corrupt version of soldat.exe?

Are there more people around with kaspersky having the same situation, or people with kaspersky not having the same situation?

Why would Soldat have a keylogger? You dont type your registration key, nor do you type any usernames or passwords.... Its just a false detection. People steal registration keys by you downloading "special programs" for Soldat, aka hax.

Where did you download Soldat from?  If you downloaded it from somewhere sketchy, then yes, you may have an infected copy of Soldat.

The only key-stealing in Soldat happens to people who install hacks into their Soldat, and the hacks contain trojans/viruses/keyloggers.
