Valor, I would think Halloween is like that, it looks really good, but I was going for scary movies in general, like texas chainsaw, just shoot the guy or throw stuff at them; chainsaws are really unwieldy. And Gunpowder, that's why fear(the game) is fun, you feel like your there more.

Resident Evil 2 gave me nightmares until I was around 12....theres just something about the early scene with the bald zombie.....as with you know....arms popping out of the wall grabbing you and such....
FEAR + Extraction Point didnt scare me at all...too many bullets and stuff blowing up around me to notice anna or whatever her name was.

Has anyone seen a Thai horror movie called Shutter? That was scary as hell, especially the ending.
The scariest X-Files episode for me is either Home or Badlaa.

The Exorcist wasn't that scary for me. The Pazuzu face shots were a bit unsettling for me...

There was one movie I can recall from when I was about 8 or 9 when I watched it over my nan's house.

I think it was called the species or something, but whatever, they had this bit in it where some guys where banging a line of women because theyd just done something great, and one of the birds just suddenly sort of collapses to her knees and her stomach expands like shes rapidly getting pregnant and then it pops open with a big X shaped cut and this alien claws it's way out.

Man it was disgusting and gave me serious nightmares for weeks to come after that.

Badlaa was the only half-decent episode when doggett came in. All the other monster of the week ones with him were horrible, and the mytharc were like a soap-opera. David D. made that show!

Species 2...

I like that scene, but I think number one was more "original" so to speak. And that chick who's playing the main alien is great

What Lies Beneath is a pretty jumpy film... probably one of the only recent movies that's capable of making me jump... or was until I watched it the second time.

I honestly don't find films scary.

Gorey films aren't scary... they're gory.... thrillers aren't scary.. they just have intelligent plot twist.

I am yet to see a film that genuinely chills me
