i need help to host a server

ok, i got a router, is there any way I can host a server so people can connect?
not renting a server or whatever, but so i host a server, i can stop the serven when i want... ok i think you understand now... can i host a server when i got a router?

Er... a router is just how your computer connects to the internet, you could have dial-up and still host a game, it would just be 00b3r sl0w. Using your home internet connection to host a server will still mean high pings compared to renting a high-speed, proper server from Fracs or U13.

The only way your router could affect your hosting is if it just firewalled all the people trying to connect.

but i was with a friend (got a laptop), and i tried to host a server, and then it worked but when im home i cant host and it says im from Poland or something (im from Norway)

You need to forward the game ports in the router config.

Just scroll down to where it says Soldat and forward those ports. They will tell you how if you click on where it says Soldat.
