I can't see as it even  being able to work.  If you scoped across the screen you'd have to wait for your bullets to "catch" up to see where they're landing or increase the bullet speed a lot.  The barret scope works because it's basically instant.

i think the scope should mean the steyr should have no bink/fire in a semi-straight line when you're standing still/crouching, and not necsarily a zoom function, because the sight is only a 1.5x irl and is used to increase accuracy over short distances, not hit at long distances.

See how confusing it would get if your screen followed every single AUG bullet to its destination. You'd probably get a seizure.

Zoom will kind of mess up the whole "automatics lose their power once they shoot past screen" and while I totally want a scope option for the AUG, think of all the lamers online who will be whining about AUG spraying.

We've got enought spraying whiners to deal with as it is. And, once again, zoom and bullet cam doesn't mix with automatics.

Scoping the AUG is useless in soldat, cause even on the extreme edges of your screen w/o a scope, the shots lose power and accuracy. The AUG is a CQB weapon in this game, and should be used so. Leave sniping to the ruger and barret, but not the autos.
