Need Help? Report Bugs! Forum Rules and Guidelines
Aside from the standard Forum Rules that apply in each area of the forum, Need Help? Report Bugs! has its own set of rules that must also be followed when creating a new topic and replying to one already present. They are as follows.

1. The Need Help? Report Bugs! section of the forum is no longer post moderated. This means that new topics and replies no longer need to be approved by a moderator before they are visible to the public. This is worth noting because it means that the responsibility is now on your shoulders to post clean, useful comments in this forum.

2. Peruse the Common Bugs and Problems List for the fastest aid to your problem. Also, always use Forum Search before creating a new topic. It is always better to post in an existing thread than to start a new one. You may want to browse through the many Stickied Threads in the Need Help? Report Bugs! forum. You will find your answer much faster this way than by waiting for a moderator to review your question.

3. When creating a new topic, be sure to provide as much information so that you may recieve help as soon as possible. For the fastest, most effecient help, follow these guidelines:
                    A. Give your topic a descriptive title relative to your problem.
Topics with titles like "Help please" and "HELP ME!!!" will generally be ignored.

          B. Try to provide a detailed report of the error, including what you were doing at the time of the error, any error messages you recieved, and your system specs (operating system, video card, amount of RAM, etc.).
If you need help identifying your computer's system specifications, feel free to ask for help in your topic.

          C. If possible, a screenshot or screen-capture is always helpful.
Again, if you need help acquiring or hosting a screenshot, feel free to ask.

          D. Include any other information you feel is pertinent. Please Note: The more information that you provide, the faster your problem will be answered. Remember, you can't expect anyone to go out of their wayto help if you won't.
Please visit this link for more information on how to submit a helpful bug report.

4. When replying to a thread, whether it be your own or another, keep your posts productive and informative. Replies without any helpful advice or those that are insulting are non-helpful and will not be approved, so do not waste your time. As an example, do not post just to say "you're stupid", or wait until a solution is posted and then reply with only "i was just gonna suggest that". These types of posts will be deleted. Also, the PC world is rather vast in scope and many people use different platforms/operating systems/software than you do, so don't reply with "get a better PC/OS/piece of software". Please reply with helpful information, for example, information pertaining to a similar piece of software. "I don't know how it works in X, but in Y you can do this by..."

5. When your problem has been solved, make sure you post the general steps or advice that you followed to solve the problem. This helps us in future problems when we need to refer to previous problems for answers. Also, this lets the moderators know when to label the topic as solved, and any fixed problems will have the prefix "[Solved]:" in their titles. Also, a little thanks to those who helped you really brightens up their day.

6. If you have found a bug or exploit that makes the game unfair, then do NOT post it here or anywhere else on the forum. Send an email to Michal Marcinkowski and make sure you include as much information as possible. Ensure the subject title includes "Soldat". We will not tolerate any questions regarding the obtaining or use of hacks, cheats, exploits, etc. Anyone caught sharing or making such hacks or cheats will be dealt with in the appropriate manner. Again, no bugs or exploits that can make the game unfair, please.

7. Never, under any circumstances, PM a Need Help? Report Bugs! moderator with your problem. Keep all help requests in the Need Help? Report Bugs! section of the forum as this helps other users solve their issues.

Finally, let me welcome you to the Need Help? Report Bugs! section of the forum! Enjoy your stay, follow the rules, and everything will go smoothly.
