i have this brilliant mod i have been making i got a few lil bugs i need to squash but i need some ones help.

me and my awsome crew of moders have been working on this pritty nice peace of work. when we ran into a bet of a problem... we cant get any new sound fx... im not gong to give to surprise out but i think you all well be impressed with my mod once some one gets me some sound fx...

im in need of some help...

I get them from games I own in a CD
battlefield 2 is best if its a war mod

i dont want to give away my mod but it has some guns in it and some fake guns ( non realistic) aswell were do you think ill get thouse and how do i get the soundfx just disect the file till you find sounds?

You could get them from 'Google'. The authors would probably hate you and want your guts on their mantlepiece if you don't inform them and give them credit but hey, it's the internet.

right, but i have serched the internet and id rather make this mod completly orignal ,but if it comes down to this mod not becomeing public I'll have to go with that idea any other ideas? mabie a website name that you are fimiler to or another resorse

If you want to make the mod completely original, that means the sound effects likewise will have to be completely original. I have no idea if you would be interested in doing that or whether you have means of doing it.

I used to know a person that was really good at orally reproducing the sounds of guns, and I used those in my mods. Sadly, I slept with their (would be then) partner and we don't speak much anymore...

ok so is there any programs in witch i can make my own sound fx and or change wavelengths, sound frequencies, pitches or tones of other wepons and sounds to make orgnal works of my own?

... or he just gives them credit in a readme file that is distributed with the mod.

It won't mess up the mod if you put a readme file there. Just test the mod before launch so that you know if it works.

exactly what kind of sounds? lasers?
sometimes i make my own sound effects with my mic, (doesnt sound too bad just you got to try multiple times

well its hard to explan the sound exactly... i dont want to use to standerd sounds nor use some one else. if you read upa bet a guy told me i can use games i have on my pc to get sounds but i dotn know how to get at them + when i do get to them for some reason soldat use the defuat sounds instead of my own. you wouldnt happen to know why would you?

what do you mean load certain games?

anyways to get it to not do the default soldat sound, just take your sound, rename it the same way they have it in the sound file, and replace the sound in the sound file

ihave tryed that and it didnt work to my plans idk mabie i renamed it not completely the same....idk. and about the downlaod certin game if i down load game you think i could get sounds from them to?

that was a little hard to understand but, yes you can get sounds from games you download unless they are copyrighted and do not allow you to copy those files anywheres

to figure out if you named the files right, when you put it in the folder it will tell you do you want to replace existing files, then you say yes

always make backups cause i didnt and i had to reinstall every thing

how would i make a copy. just have anoter copy on my desk top. well ok. im kind of on a dead line with this mod because i need to get 2 more mods out by the end of this mouth.

Google up "GoldWave". Take some CS Sounds (that you can rip from the net) and modify to your hearts desire. Works for me.

ok people the time you have been waiting for is nearly here. i got just a small hand full of bug to squash, then the unvaling of this mysterous mod well come. estimated time of release: if all goes to play by the end of this week sunday the 23rd.

A special thanks goes out for all the people that helped me with this minor set back and for the hand full that helped me out with the mod.Â Â Â

any guesses to what the mod is. it is an 'out of the world game' for the copmuter only.
If you guess right you get a special edtion of the mod
