All custom interfaces screwed up?

I just tried a few custom interfaces from the interface forum and all of them are not aligned properly. I play @ 1024x768 windowed and am wondering if Soldat doesn't automatically scale things according to resolution.

Any example interface would be "Frame."

Yes they're strange positioned on higher resolutions.

Just out of curiosity, what's so different about playing in higher resolutions anyway?

I don't have registered Soldat, so I don't know what all the fuss is about...

I mean since all of the gosteks, weapons and interface and stuff is made out of small images, they can't possibly look more detailed or anything... right?

I don't know about you but a 800x600 window on a 1680x1050 screen is hard to look at.

Michal Marcinkowski explained the registered interface scaling on higher resolutions in 1.4 and up here, in case you're curious about how to fix it.
