I was in Grade 3, and at school and I heard something about bombs going off in the US, but when I got home I found out.

Didn't care.

But at my dads school, when parents came to pick up their kids, the muslims were cheering in the halls.

I was in yr 6 and our principle got us all gathered for an assembly and mumbled about some crap that i didn't listen too (which was about the bombing) and i sat their eating my mandarin and talking to my friend about magic cards. I am in Australia and i don't know why the principle even gave a fk.

When i got home, i saw it all on TV and sat down too watch it on the news which got me shouted at by parents cuz i was suppose to do work and they did that 'ear tear' thing on me which hurt like crap.

I just woke up, when I had to go to school. I had CNN even tho I don't have a satellite or even a cable tv. And I live in croatia. It was just there, and I watched as the plane crashes into the skyscraper. I think it was like, a couple of mins after the real thing.

I was in my senior year, high school, 40 miles away (I live on Long Island). Thankfully no family/friends work in the city. I remember leaving a little after for my lunch period and then watching it on like every channel afterwards.

I was on my way to school when I saw our local free newspaper spammed with a large pic of the WTC and a plane in it. We made a meme out of it later that day. Fun times : 3

4th grade... someone left and he didnt know why, and we asked the teacher if she knew and she was like "yeah.. something bad happend, but we cant tell you what it is"

At school, 3rd grade, we were having an assembly, a guy with puppets came in just to be funny. I think it was 12th row, middle right facing the bleachers. Suddenly a bunch of teachers ran in and the puppeteer dude stopped, and we all were like "wtf" and school was let out early, I got home and watched CNN with my parents.

You were playing World of Warcraft 3 in 2001?

..anyway, I was on a school trip to a cottage up in the mountains. Some of my classmates and my teacher were listening carefully to the radio, and I asked them what they were listening to. Then they said that some a plane had crashed in NYC. I'm all "... k catch you later" and went off to play.
When I got back and turned on the TV the day after, I was pretty shocked to be honest.

I think he means Warcraft 3...and that didn't come out until 2002.
