Some mouses don't work perfectly
« on: September 14, 2007, 04:09:00 am »
Some mouse modles don't work in soldat perfectly
My mouse is Logitech G5 and when i use it in soldat.
sometimes it keeps shooting even if i click fire button once.
(also happens with flying)
and sometimes the buttons don't work even if i click.
i thought it was just my problem, but people who use G5 had same problem.
I don't know if it's just for Logitech G5.

My mouse isnt a ligitech g5 but i have the same problem....both my jets and my fire buttons keep jetting/firing sometimes.  I just thought it was my mouse.  I also have the same problem with them not working at all.  Both these problems only last for a few seconds if that.  I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it happens to everyone sometimes.  If not everyone then at least alot of people.

I would if I knew.  I am a computer tard.  It has "hp" on it and it is at least 3 years old.  I'm assuming it came with the computer considering this computer is an hp.

Does it happen at the start of a round? It can usually happen when the game has lagged and has not detected that you've let go of the mouse button.

For me it seems to be random.

The flying and shooting after only clicking once is a common problem. It happens to me often. It doesn't affect gameplay too much so I really won't worry about it.

I've got a Logitech too, don't remember the model, but this's never happened to me.

I've used a Logitech G5 and I experience the same problems with it. When playing in windowed mode, the mouse also seems to click on external non-Soldat windows and thus cover up Soldat during the middle of a round. I think that it had something to do with using the middle mouse button (which is my Ventrilo hotkey), though it never happens with any other mouse.

This is an issue that's been brought up before, and it only seems to happen with wireless mice, or (rarely) certain brands of wired mice.

G5 is not wireless.
does anyone have G5 but not have this problem?

I think only wireless and razer mouses get this problem. can this be fixed?

I have a Logitech G5, the blue lightning model, and it works perfectly fine and has never had any faults in Soldat... Try using new drivers because its definitely fine.

I have MS/Razor Habu, and the only thing I've experienced is jet being on at start of a round, which has probably something to do with what SpiltCoffee said.

Heh... it could be something to do with the computer, too.

Does anyone with problems with their mouse in Soldat have problems in other games?
