Is it me, or has a vast majority of soldats decent players and servers have gone.
Inf and Rambo is on its last limbs.
Htf and Pointmatch were long dead.  :'(
Ctf, DM, and TM are slowly dying away to subgames and climbing servers.

Since u13 died, INF has died.
People will play rambo, but no one wants to not have the bow, but I can usually get a few others to play and get a game going.
And all the newbies are joining the subgame modes thus normal ctf is dying.
And it's a shame.
In 1.3.1 Soldat was great...
But then came 1.4 and people didn't like it
It did take some getting used to
But its a shame, it would be alot better if more people started playing
When ever I play it feels like I'm hanging on to whats left of soldat..

I've noticed alot of the decent players have left Soldat to.
I remember be able to join a random server, and seeing 3-4 decent players that you knew, or familiar with.

INF has not died. So long as Leo's keeps running it's INF, it shall not die.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

People can't play forever.

I know, but there isnt enough new people playing to take the places of people who've left
So soldat will die pretty quickly..

No more predictions of impending doom. Even if most of the "good" players move on in their lives, Soldat ain't goin' down that easily.

The good people will stay forever. Those sign in clans. Clans mostly join some sort of a league, which offers CTF only.

So the main problem is that there ain't any leagues with othe gamemodes.

Also good players don't play with "noobs", so no public matches. What they often play are gathers with other good players enjoying and skilling themselves as high as it gets!

CTF is just as strong as ever IMO. TDM is dying though I think. However, CTF and DM are still going strong. However, I am concerned about the amount of climbing servers too. These subgames do not interest me at all. I also do not like RS because I might as well play SF then which is 3d (although lag ridden). However, I would not say Soldat is going down the tubes or anything. I still see a lot of u13 servers and lots of people playinf regular CTF and DM.

I love TM's but yeah its hard to find those, unlike blaze i've played them more than once within the last year :P but even then there were no more than 6-8 people in them, and even then people didnt stay very long, if you had a 16 player TM, it would be hot, fun, competitive & very entertaining IMHO.

I've never played HTF online before... never found a game, but would love to try it out, bots just aint the same.

INF, also love playing that, but im not much of a r/s player, although i will play just for a change

And whats a pointmatch... haha! never seen a server for that in my life

Just go join an empty server and wait for people to join. They will eventually.

What I've started doing alot more, but only 3-4 people join and stay for 5-10 minutes max.

I used to host a regular server before. All I had to do was get in and get a game going. Sometimes it would stay almost full for many hours, and even though it was empty when I went to bed, it was full when I woke up in the morning.

That doesn't happen in LRS. If the server is empty (though that's rare), you don't have to wait for too long when it's full again.

maybe more people should start doing that ^^ since this seems to a big concern for a lot of people, honestly i would, but my ISP sucks, cuz if i saw an HTF up, i would go in there just to see what its like to play online because its different, and im sure it'd be fun... at least for a while
