Cortex Command = Hilarious

Ok, so I know I'm a little behind in the times when I'm talking about Cortex Command. Well, there's a beta version of it found at http://www.datarealms.com

I downloaded it and played it. At first, it didn't make a lot of sense to me, but I now know outright killing and stragetic bunker building and digging gold for money is the real reason I'm playing this game. If it was only those things, I wouldn't have played it. Ah, yes, the only reason I played it right now would be the hilarious physics scripting. Guns flying everywhere, bones and body parts going up in the air. Kinda like soldat, except the clones have noticeable eyes.

Plus, the rocket is fun to control and plan it in a way to land on your opponents for a insta kill.

I was playing that game 1 y ago, and the test version 18 is really nice, in some others can't contrusct your own bunker


well, and i like do 'Giant Hangars' dowload extra bunker things, and change the cost of one of them to -50000 you will have  a lot of money.

I remember playing it alot about three months ago. I mined a load of money and bought about 50 rockets in maybe 10 seconds. Normally, when you buy maybe 10 rockets on the same time at the same place, they start colliding and destroying the terrain and stuff, but with so many rockets, something snapped and the laws of physics disappeared. Rockets flew randomly everywhere at unlimited speed, cutting through concrete and solid rock like it's butter, bits of robomen and ground falling down from the sky and... stuff. It was pretty fun. When the dust settled, there were only a few blocks of ground remaining.

Gotta play that game again. Any new features?

Dropships, you can set the bots to do patrolling and mining...build your own base....um that's all I can think of.

As for the file size... something like 20 mb If I remember right.

Btw, the most fun thing about this game is modding. Srsly, you can create almost any wierd and fucked up idea from your mind and put it in the game. Oh and did I mention that its ridiculously easy to mod the game? Give it a go and go to www.datarealms.com/forum
Register and go straight for the mods section to discover billions of mods raging from big guns to ufos and huge ass mechs and even nukes.

   well numgun, you can make a ''ERA mod'' for cortex command? Hard Work but, you will have a loooot of fans, soon i will start modding on Cortex, but i dont know about the .ini . . .
