Barretters are haters?

When I use the Minimi, sometimes someone would call out  "sprayer", "minimi is nub weapon" etc. I'm not at all supprised by this, as people will complain about anything and everything in public servers. However, I've grown to notice that the one who is complaining about my "mini nub weapon" is normally holding a Barrett or M79, as if he is trying to kill people with his sheer amount of irony.

Are those whiners inherently bitter people, do they have a hard time excepting that bink exists or is this just a coincidence that isn't thread-worthy?

BTW: I put this in General Discussions because this is more about player attitudes rather than weapon balance.

I hate to hear the word "sprayer" when i put my mp5 bullets in a place off screen where I KNOW THEY ARE.  I know they are there so i squeeze of a few shots in their direction, kill them, and hear "sprayer noob" from a coward holding a m79.  It's even more irritating comming from a one shotter {which happens (ironically) ALOT}  So frustrating...  I feel your pain SDFilm.

Oh how i envy your ability to move on when someone calls you a noob when you've done nothing  but outsmart them.  You are a better man than me...thats for sure.

I know the situation. Today I faced a camping sniper that hid himself behind a polygon. I lobbed a nade over, and jetted up and finished him off with my steyr.
Apparently I had a "noob play style" and some other whine that I ignored.

I felt like commenting that calling other's playstyle noobish when they are lying in a bush with their barret is pretty ironic.

Today i played with him in a 1vs1 and he raped me =/.

You can't do anything vs a good minimi player like him .

Who say that weapon is of noobs is because it always kill him =/.

And there isn't, in soldat, any noob weapon!

Hm, I think I barely won when I played SDFilm a long time ago. Was on my server, so I had the ping upperhand though ;P

Fighting a minimi user with other autos put some pressure on you. You have to finish him with the first clip, because his gun will still be blazing while you reload.
And my main tactic against auto users is to make them dry out their clip, wich doesen't work too well in this case

Well, personally i believe something needs to be done about the Minime. Generally, on a public server it doesn't cause many issues as there isn't normally  a pro Minime user on a public server. However, if you ever played gathers and cw's with someone wielding a minime who does not miss and to top it off has a socom as secondary...there isn't much you can do I've played gathers that just get ruined: these players are skilled but... IT JUST GOT TOO MANY BULLETS!!!!

Minimi was designed to cover your team, and you should be crouched to use it.

The same happens with the minigun, it is used to cover your team and pwn snipers aim.

Barreters are just people who whine that barrets are better weapons than any other weapon. because they are bad at the other weapons

I always see it as this:
If I have a barrett and a knife, I have two chances to kill. (give or take however many nades I have)

I think barrett whiners should see it like that as well.

Stereotyping topic tbh... anyone will talk poo-poo to you, whether they have deagles to auto to barret. People say stuff all the time in the game, mainly to see if they can piss you off because its entertaining to the younger generation, just get used to it, it wont stop.

just the un-skilled newbies that think Barret is a good start-out gun, not @ pros (I used to only use m79, but now I jump around with weapon useage a little (I'm still a sprayer tho ))
