BARRETARD - The Unbinkables

If you're a barretard, share some pictures where your shots still hit the target eventhough you were supposed to be binked ! :D


Here is just a picture of my normal practice run. What makes this picture special is that you see a small white bullet right in front of my face, mere milliseconds before I was binked.




Here was just a random 1v1...... where the opponent was highly skilled. He even charged with a grenade in his last moments to stop me from getting my last kill.
Somehow the shot ricocheted into his face.  ;D

We all know bink is a myth MM invented so we think barret is balanced.
Or at least it seems that way half the time. This are funny either way.

First one you took hardly any damage so saying you were binked if laughable. The second one, unless you always aim for the ground, you were in fact binked and the other guy got very unlucky.

ElGato, if you look at the picture again you might notice that it says "ricochets: 1" and the bullet is coming up at the right angle to have been shot straight from his gun and bounced. He wasn't binked, his reticule is tiny too...

anyway, bink doesn't matter...  ::)

I just turned off everything but minigun and baz, let a bot fire away at me while i was in the air and just after 1/2 hp blasted his brains out. I'm afraid I'm a tad slow at screenshotting cos on my keyboard you have to press alt-prtscreen and it's kinda out of the way, so the minigun bullets are all gone and the reticule has shrunk a titch, but you get the idea.



Also, lonewolf, why the different names? ???

Once in a while you'll see A Harmless Fart running around ctf with no weapons whatsoever pleading for his life........... oh god you should see me offering a nice warm hug.... and end up with no arms to hug with the next second.

haha all too often I am the weaponless ninny (dammit if i didn't know better I'd swear it takes a titch longer to change from baz to knife in this version lol) and the weapon drop bug doesn't help. I generally find a weapon soon enough, but I wouldn't count on my chances charging at you with fists. XD

Even when binked the bullet follows the same physics, therefore ricochets are still entirely possible. And if the shot came strait from his gun(Where else would it come from? :p) and bounced why did he aim for the ground to begin with? Just to make it a fancy ricochet shot for no reason? I don't see a reticule but I do see a lot of damage done to him so I am still under the assumption he was in fact binked.

I assume that's his reticule on the ground directly behind the bullet, but it mightn't be. The shot could come from his gun from an angle as opposed to straight from his gun (as it does when you are binked), but you can't see the gun so idk. I often aim at the ground for fancy shots, but perhaps that's just me. I'm not saying there was no bink, I'm saying I can believe that there wasn't, the game isn't perfect. (not that I'd complain if they removed the bink from the baz lol) :P

Dude. Go play some R/S and use your barret. Its hard trust me. Im on of the best snipers in soldat and Ive found its hard to binkshoot. Come play with me sometime.

I got moments when I unload 5 bullets in a row on a sniper, and he still manages to hit me, even though its pretty far away.

ever played Priv.soldat? hes literally the best player i have ever seen on soldat in 4-5 years
i think iv beaten him about 2 games out of 30 we played. hes played longer than me though and very dangerous
