I'm all for outlawing annoying huge flashing shit in your sig, but whats with the whole lowering it even more? The old rules were more then fine.

lines went from 100 characters to 70

lines with a picture went from 100 to 40

Or is this just a bad dream.

how come userbar users get 100 chars for their 1 line and everyone else with a picture gets 2 lines of 40?? HUH?

The Rules here have always been damn strict with signatures, too strict on some parts, but outlawing seizure inducing ones is a good idea.

A lot of people have problems with the restrictions on image dimensions and file sizes. They think that we're in a modern age where everyone has dial up and see no reason why they shouldn't be able to have giant signatures with 20-minute long movie clips in them.

At least 100+ people on these forums have dial-up, and many more have slow DSL connections with monthly transfer limits imposed on them.

I've always liked the way these forums had size limit in both sig and avatar. Keeps it clean and easy on the eye. :)

I don't know, but no other forum I go to has such hard restrictions and they all go fine with that. Odd, they must have some sort of Utopian mega-power.

The sig rules have been the same since before Bricks was admin. They keep the forum looking less chaotic with annoying animations and big pictures. Sytrus you just need to learn to drop stupid battles.
