Healing armor?
« on: September 24, 2007, 06:14:09 am »
Hmm yeah it mightn't hurt actually - not a full health thing but rather a armor that says... absorbs sunlight which slowly increases your health :P Sort of like The End's suit from MGS3

Of course don't want something cheap, perhaps it acts similar to bullet proof vest however bit more durable but provides less armor advantage...

Who knows, its worth a suggestion

Now THIS would be an awesome idea for a powerup. Maybe starts out filling your health as fast as Rambo, but the more you get hit the slower it restores your health.

Yeah, this would rock. F12!

Or better yet, fix the flamer being such a steaming pile of **** and add the healing armor as a new bonus :O

MM never will add this unnecessary stuff - F11

Stop doing crazy ideas and leave space in this forum for important things.

Stop doing crazy ideas and leave space in this forum for important things.

You say every idea is unnecessary, it's not like all of these are going to be implemented; they're POSSIBILITIES. By your logic we should stick to bug fixes and bug fixes alone. And...leave space for important things? This is a separate area for the sole purpose of ideas like these; it's is the entire point of this subforum!

I mean, unnecessary? Yes! Few things that have been added were necessary. But that doesn't mean it isn't a good idea. And who's to know what MM will add, he added other bonuses didn't he, not to mention some other ideas that seem more far-fetched than this.

hey whats so bad about flamer? :P When I host using it on my server it seems to kill too fast for my liking... anyways

It would be great if it were easy to script in, but im thinking a server running off of scripts wouldn't be very..fast. Is modding soldat a moderate process? (Something below complex atleast :P)

I don't think scripting slow down servers noticeably, but as far as I know it' nowhere near as easy as modding graphics. If you want to ask anyone how, check out the scripting help forum.
