Halo 3 is out! I just thought I'd post a few interesting numbers for ya:

820,000: The number of gamers who partook in the free multiplayer beta-test for Halo 3 this year.

500: How many Canadian retailers will be open at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday morning to sell the game. In the U.S., this number is 10,000.

$1 billion (U.S.): The estimated dollar value of the Halo franchise.

4 million: The estimated number of units Halo 3 will sell in its first two months in the U.S. alone (IGN GamerMetrics).

39,000: The number of lines of dialogue in the upcoming Halo 3.

120: The number of full-time developers who worked on Halo 3 at Bungie Studios.

20,000: In pounds, the estimated amount of pizza consumed by Bungie designers over the three years it took to create Halo 3.

Gotta give Halo kudos for making loads of money. That's all the kudos it gets, I personally think it is bland and overrated.

I'm not really a fan of the current generation of game consoles. I'm gonna start saving for the next. (Or buy a Wii) However, I do own Halo 1 and 2. I am still interested to see how the 3rd one is. Is it out yet? Someone post a review without spoilers.

I'm probably going to end up getting a 360 sometime in the future. And when I do, I'm going to end up spending all my money on the Halo series, starting from Halo 1.

When HALO 2 came out, i was so hyped up and shit and it seemed like the best thing in the world for me, but now, HALO 3 did not interest me one bit. When someone told me that it was out the day midnight, i replied that i cbf getting it. I'm surprised at myself =/
