Well there are some differences, like sometimes I end up with a full shield after it recharges, and sometimes I end up with a full shield before it even recharges.

Legendary is the only one which is even remotely challenging, and that is mostly because the enemies eat even more bullets.

and the graphics have so many effects and so much bloom that they look like shit. The graphics look ok, but in the there-is-way-too-much-shit-on-the-screen kind of way.
It hurts my eyes to play that game for more then an hour at a time without at least a short break.


And anything on the 360 looks like horse shit on an old tv anyway. you almost have to buy an HD or at least an LCD to get a clear enough picture to make the graphics look even remotely good.

Hey dude what i suggest is that when you play multiplayer switch the speed you run at to 300. And make the gravity lower. Omg it gets so crazy running that fast.

I mean yeah, I totally agree on it being overhyped. But 4yo doesn't seem to understand why the game is being bought and loved. The first Halo was so great because it created a successful first person shooter formula for a console game. It also had such a dynamic soundtrack and the story was pretty good. Just at the thought of the second game coming out created the hype on it's own.

Yeah so Bioshock has some bloom effects. Also pretty much every game is repetitive in Bioshock you just keep killing people over and over again with your powers. In Halo you keep killing people with your weapons over and over again. But it never gets boring. Its just like Soldat where you keep killing over and over again with weapons. But Soldat never gets boring.

I guess I would call Halo skeletol, not a whole lot of meat. For me, someone without and Xbox/360, it does not constitute getting it. If for some retarded reason an Xbox 360 landed on my front porch tommorrow I would probably get it becuase it is one of the only halfway descent games for Xbox. I think it is boring quite frankly. From personal experience (this doesn't go for everyone) people who like Halo have never played hardly any other FPS games, pretty much only console ones. And I think most can agree that PC shooters are better then console. But that's not the point, the point is to someone who has never played another shooter Halo is a gift from the gods, to a lot of other people it is really really bland. Not saying this goes for everyone, but 95% of the people I know.

My major beef with Halo is the weapons. None of them are really imaginative- and they don't make much sense, either. A pistol with a scope that has longer range and higher power than a rifle? Rotating double barreled rocket launcher with no exoskeletal assistance? Battle rifle with only a 3 round burst mode, yet it has a scope. Dual wielding? Um, that's been around forever. And the famed energy blade- I prefer the Lightsaber.

The designs themselves are also rather boring. Only interesting one as far as I'm concerned is the flamethrower. It looks like a motorcycle. That shoots flames.  Fuel rod gun is cool too.

I will say though, that the music is really good. The gameplay itself is fun for a while, but gets boring quickly if you've ever played an FPS with an actual plot. Like F.E.A.R. Or Half-Life.

I admit I've only ever played the first game, and watched others playing the second one, and seen only bits of the third online. I got the first assuming "omg this is gonna be amazing." And soonafter I was bored completely out of my skull. I turned to multiplayer, which got old pretty quick. Then I uninstalled it and never touched it again. It's just alright. It's not zomg amazing.

That seems an arbitrary statistic, but that about sums it up. If you've ever played a good FPS before, other than the original Doom, maybe, you're more likely to see Halo as the vapid experience it is.

Yes, similar to how, in Mechwarrior, Reflective armor is more resistant to energy weapons, while Reactive armor is more resistant to ballistic weapons. In Mechwarrior, you can mount a ton of weapons, ballistic and energy, so you can effectively deal with someone else with that kind of armor.

In Halo you have 2 weapons. While I applaud that realistic detail of being able to carry only two, I think the setup makes weapons like the assault rifle useless. And since assault rifles tend to be, like, the main weapons of most armies, that's a little ridiculous to me.
