Slow Bullets

To eliminate spraying I think bullets under a certain speed shouldn't hurt you at all. Should still bink you but not hurt.

Well, spray can be a problem, but eliminating the damage completely after a distance would be kinda extreme. :-\

there just needs to be changes to the current soldat system. this is already parially implemented since slower speed is less damage. i forgot but theres some equation to find out how many hits it takes to kill someone.

i think that that was already implimented in the last update.

Actually from experience (i might be wrong, just stating though) I have found that barret rounds DO slow down and give less damage over distance. I remember on B2B i was shooting blindly where the efc usually hides, and I followed my bullet across the screen. It flew up perfectly and HEADSHOTTED the EFC... but it didnt kill him.... but ive had other experienced too. I think the barret might do less damage.

BUT ok now to what the thread is acually about. Eliminating ALL damage? yes, extreme, as what twistkill said. Its also like saying "Hey lets make Barrets that shoot more than one screen not do any damage". =[

I mean that when bullets get going REALLY slow so that they only do a bit of damage, shouldnt hurt you at all.

uhhh. thats basicly what it is, once they slow down (off screen) they do less damage, have you ever stood in someones spray and watched your health? (ok i doubt youve done this, but have you noticed your health after being blind sprayed) it doesnt hurt as much as closer up.

jbigz, i think what you experienced was a "lag hit" not the barret slowing down.

anyways this has already been implemented

I have no problem with spraying. After all, I spray myself quite often.

Yup, me too Fluffy. Specially on R/S (with survival) it really helps weakening the enemy. If you don't like spray, learn to take cover.

You guys just sound like people in the Gunz Community. Its a game fyi.

Eliminate spraying, PSH! Your wasting bullets and with luck you'd hit the person at least 4 times. Jeez wtf is it with spraying. Heres an idea, COVER PLZ?

Yeah yeah I hear you. What if theres no cover. Then your gonna have to face the sprayer. And thats what Soldat is about, killing the **** outta each other.

NO.

If it doesn't damage you, it shouldn't bink you.

No, bad idea. This would make some clan's strategies useless and they would /phail.
