Also found "RUN" so i gues ill try the earlier solutions and post back.

pinging rr.soldat.pl [67.106.77.184] with 32 bytes if data:

Request Timed Out.
Request Timed Out.
Request Timed Out.
Its same for the "defaultlobby.soldat.pl"

Then i tried that Telnet test and it said windows cannot find it! :(
Hoping you can find a way for me!  ::)

Also although this is irrelevant to the soldat problem,
when i try to connect to a poker server on Facebook i get this:

"your firewall may be blocking access to port 9339"

http://rr.soldat.pl:13073/

Does that give you a blank page or fail to connect?

Cannot display the webpage.

Then i clicked on "diagnose conection problema" and it said "cannot communicate with rr.soldat.pl (67.106.77.184)"
Network diagnstics pinged the remote host but did not receive a response.

then it gives the option to reset the network adapter "local area connection" although i dont think this makes a difference.

yep, you've got a firewall blocking all of your traffic on non-popular ports.  There is nothing we can do to help you with that

Then if i try to make it exempt from the firewall why is that still a problem or am i not doing it right?

I also have a problem with request server but i think it is to do with my University internet.

Is there any way in which i can make it work without going to the uni?
Your University probably blocks the port itself. If you have to use a proxy, then it might be the cause. Not much you can do, except maybe kick up a fuss. :S.

you're probably not doing it right, or there is another firewall that is not on your computer, but somewhere else between you and the lobby server.  Are you at a college/university or something?

Your university is probably limiting connections on unknown ports for "security" reasons.  Talk to your campus helpdesk and they can explain what restrictions are in place.

If i used a wireless connection rather than the ethernet will it make a difference?
