a tip about mouse sensitivity.
« on: October 03, 2007, 01:44:15 am »
1. When people say their mouse sensitivity, they don't mention their mouse dpi.
it means that a person with 50% sensitivity with a 800 dpi mouse is same as
a person with 100% sensitivity with a 400dpi mouse. So when you post your mouse sensitivity, post ur mouse dpi too. (also your moniter resolution too.)

2. If you use wrist for aiming, your sensitivity is high and if you use arm for aiming, your sensitivity is low.

3. You don't have to Higher or Lower your mouse sensitivity to what people recommend.
Use what you like. Try finding your best sensitivity which is not too slow or not too fast.

Mmm I generally run my mouse at 1200 dpi.

Logitech G5 2007 edition - great mousey.

Can't remember what my Soldat sensitivity is on - 99% chance it's the default - I just change my mouse dpi (on the fly if need be).

I use the same mouse, its wonderful. I love on the fly sensitivity for things like soldat, as I use 800 dpi normally and switch to 400 dpi for Soldat, with 100% sensitivity.

I still have a ball mouse.
You should just choose one sensitivity and stick to it, you'll get use to it in few days.
Most of the time I've played with 100, and I wouldn't change it anymore.

My sensitivity is 75 right now, which is better for aiming while still being able to move the mouse around a decent amount.
