how do you play whife an mod in soldat

how do you get mods in the game ??? can you tell my i am thust new in the forum ;D

You DL the mod you want, open it (with winRar or Winzip) and copy the folders in the .rar to your soldat directory. Click "yes to all", to overwrite everything, so that the mod would be installed.

Be sure to back up your old soldat files, or you'll have to reinstall.
Then run soldat and voila.

No, you copy the mod files to a folder in Soldat\mods folder and use Soldat Mod Starter to run it.

Yes you can use the mod starter too.

Hard-modding ftw! It's the original and the only way. Modstarters are for crapbaggers. xD

Or people who don't have several petabytes of secondary memory and have played games with harder file installation methods than Soldat. (I'm looking at you, StepMania.)
New way = Soldat Mod Starter or various 3rd party programs
Old way = -mod parameter (what I use)
Older way = Soldat Mod Changer
Oldest way = brute-force file replacement

Quick way:
1. Get mod.
2. Place mod with files in folders (i.e., desired mod has folders like "Interface-gfx", "Weapons-gfx", "Sfx") in a folder inside Soldat\Mods. (i.e., C:\Soldat\Mods\HAXXMOD)
3. Use Soldat Mod Launcher or preferred method to launch mod
In any case, several people have already explained how to do this. Currently, I don't feel like searching so if you want more explanation, go do a search.

Dude, if, your computer has a problem with multiple Soldat installations then I daresay you run DirectX7 (Yes, that was a joke).

No, I just don't like wasting disk space. I've only got a few gigs left. Besides, it's easy to install mods this way and I can have shortcuts to all of my mods in one handy desktop folder without having to sweat the path. Besides, it's pretty easy to just copy a Soldat shortcut and add -mod "HAXXMOD" to the end of the path. Also, you can run mods through the Run dialog box.
