Why doesn't knife stabs kill in one hit? They don't get hardly any kills anyway, so why not make it kill in one hit so people can goof around. It's not that big of a deal, but I think it would be a lot of fun.

Sometimes when you throw your knife and hit anyone, it doesn't kills! Your enemy got still ~10% hp... can this be fixed? Or was like a attempt to make possible survive to a knife hit?
You can hardly ever use knife as a close combat (With stabs) weapon, is more effective throw it...

A day i kill a dude with saw going ultra fast to me, but (With a lot of luck) i stab him.... (With knife!!!)

Knife kills are only supposed to 1-hit-kill if you charge them up a bit, enemies surviving a weak throw isn't a glitch.

This is absolute bullshit. Whenever I use ruger in a gather, I use SOCOM. You won't see most people using barrett WITHOUT a SOCOM. At all.

Knife is balanced imo, but i'd agree that if the stabs were one hit kill, it would basically cancel out the chainsaw, just for the mere fact you can throw it and still do damage, you cant throw a chainsaw at someone and hope they get stabbed by the blade of it.

you dont compare a secondary with a primary because you can have a primary and a secondary when you respawn. the primary is supposed to be better than a secondary because its the main killer.

if anything do you see any one that uses anything other than knife these days?? people dont choose stuff for no reason. and the reason why people chooses knife over law/saw/socom is because knife is better than the rest. and that is not balanced.

Actually I almost always see 2+ laws in each gather I go in, often with a socom user in there too.

law - good on several maps, long range
socom - just a standard secondary ...
knife - it is short range only, ONLY. It seems to be best for rusher, so that's probably why it's overused

Actually I almost always see 2+ laws in each gather I go in, often with a socom user in there too.

compare it to the amount of knife users.

you can see that knife is better than law... better than any other secondary. Before the knife had the start up decrease, there were as much knifers as lawers. I think the start up should go back to what it was. thats all. also the law should go back too

What? knife is good ONLY if youre good with it AND if youre using a non-1 hit weapon

if youre using barrett/knife youll waste a "full" hit on a less than 25% health enemy(if you miss you let a dead enemy go thru when he should have been easily killed)
if youre using soccom you only have to do a couple hits


In fact, it is the soccom that is overpowered(low reload time, low "delay" between hits, good ammo)

Since when is this game realistic. Seriosly, if I had a dime for every time someone said something about "realism" in these forums, I'd be rich.
To be honest, I don't think it would unbalance the saw, since the saw is like a ton longer (you pretty much have to be "in" the guy to hit with knife) it would just be a lot more fun to goof off. Since you would just throw it anyway, I think it would just be fun. But I can see why people wouldn't want to take the time to make frivilous crap.

So they use autos and they let them pass with only 25% health, what are you gonna do... waste a knife or a barrett  bullet? wow, good thinking there, you could easily take that guy down with a couple of soccom bullets(you dont even have to aim too well since is has a almost no reload time).
