I'm fine, I've never been bad at school.
From 1st to 7th grade I was floating "5-6" mark (A-B in the US)
Since then I moved to another school and let's say I keep the mark "5" (It's like B in the US)
But last year I finished with over 5.50 which is a stable A and they pay for that :O

Nice. From this scolar year we've already missed one month - teachers protesting for higher payment and we don't study.
I'm not gonna study that much as years before...

Once my friend nearly got expelled because he tried to steal the teachers cell phone, and a 12 year old kid saw it and quickly told it to the head of the school PTA (Parent and Teacher association. The people who buys stuff for the school)

Just wait till you have to read that piece of trash David Copperfield.
Or Slaughterhouse 5, or Catcher in the Rye, or 1984, or Brave New World, or any of those "classics" which are supposed to be good but really, really suck.  Hey! Kurt! No one cares that you think you were abducted by aliens during WW2!

I'd find those books good ;_;

I'm doing good in english as of last year...but I don't have it this semester and I wish I did.

I wasn't doing too well in school but I guess I'm doing alright at the moment, my first few years of secondary school involved more mucking around and pissing people off than actually studying, all it took really was a bit of maturing and finding my niche and coming to terms with where I want to go with my life.

I've never read Slaughterhouse 5, but 1984, Brave New World and especially A Catcher in the Rye are all fantastic books. I can't say I've loved all the books that were given to me in my past English classes but I'm seriously hoping that I get to study either 1984 or Brave New World in English in the near future (already studied A Catcher in the Rye in class).

Well, it depends on how you look at them.  1984 was incredibly insightful, but...I just didn't like it.  I mean, come on, the only thing you can ever trust is Big Brother, the entity who invades your life and disrupts your privacy?

Brave New World was insightful to some degree, and I suppose I can appreciate it for that, but I didn't like it either.  The only moral character in the entire story succumbs to temptation at the end? What kind of a story is that? I know not everything can be flowers and bunnies, but that's not deep; it's just depressing.

I felt the same way about the Catcher in the Rye.  Way too depressing, filled with vulgarity, and apparently (I learned this after I read it) spoken from the perspective of someone in a mental institution.  Just not my thing.

Another book I didn't like was Lord of the Flies.  What's so great about a book where everyone dies?
Gamer_2k4

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.

I haven't read the book, but in the movie everybody doesn't die.....then again it's an adaption.

I thought the Lord of the Flies was a good read, the entire narrative is for the most part a biblical allusion, and from that perspective most of the things that go on make much more sense.

Catcher in the Rye,

How can you diss that book? Anways, I think ANY book sucks if you have to read it, report on it, analyze it, and crap. If you read it for fun it's always better.

anways, my grades are pretty damn good. I get 90-100's on all my tests without trying, and this is honors stuff.

EDIT: fuck you  Gamer_2k4, i'm reading 1984 now and you spoiled it.

What books do you like, then? From your post it looks like you don't like anything with anything negative in them.

In middle school I got mostly c's and d's.
Now that I am in highschool I am getting mostly A's with an occasional B.
This is probably because I royally hated middle school.

I'm pretty good at school this year! Of course it's only the begin but I already have some 100%, exept in math, I can't say that I'm bad in this matter but if our teachers and books could have a bit of skill (Uh.. Our math books have the U.S.S.R flag on the flags list  ::))
  LOL nice one Unlimited! :P

I was a hard slacker in 8th grade and did none of my work.  But I still passed with a D average.  Now since I'm in high school, I'm taking thins seriously and I have good grades.  3.7 GPA compared to 0.71.
