Oi mateys..

I don't think this will ever really be added to soldat, but I think it's a really cool idea.

You know how you can add sniperline? Well, Imagine if that line crossed a random soldat, and then an alarm would go of on that guys screen. Something like a little red dot would light up or whatever, and he would know he was being sniped? Ofcourse this wouldn't only work with sniperline attached, but it would still follow that particular path.

It would be so cool, and I really think we would start to see people using dodging manouvres alot more

Anyway, it's just a funny thought..

You don't respawn in real life either, and I'm pretty sure they also don't have jetpacks as well.

Sounds too much like a hack to me (though if it was made part of the game, it won't technically be a hack). Especially with the Barrett's delay time, it would get very tedious for the sniper. Although the Minimier inside of me says it's great

Kind of stupid and pointless. Err, I don't really support, this wouldn't really improve the game. It takes away the thrill of zooming in on some clueless fool, just seconds away of having his entrails shot clear across the map, followed by a "wtf" from the victim.

I don't like it... kinda messy in my opinion.

You could always change the zoom-in/-out sound on the barett and make it sound like an alarm(*bip!* *bip!*)

In my point of view this alarm thing is done only because so many people hate Barret and they want to make it less powerfull :/

This is just going to be an argument against barrett users and barrett haters, IMO...

F11, the whole reason the barrett is the way it is, IS in FACT... because its a sniper rifle, now lets take a moment to think about that and what the purpose of a sniper rifle is...

.... Enough thought yet?...

... ok, now a sniper rifle is a slow-loading, long range weapon, its advantage, you guessed it, long range, its disadvantage, your on a roll, its slow loading.... now how much more balanced can it be for being what its supposed to be?!?!!

This 'alarm' would be stupid, it would just make the whole sniper rifle basically useless for its primary purpose, better off saying 'take the barrett out of the game'

So the sniper's supposed to actually give up his pos. by taunting? Nah, it's no way.
