Yep, it's time once again for "Serious Discussion with Gamer_2k4."

So how do you guys feel about suicide? What motivates it? What would prevent it? Should it be prevented? Is it right? Is it wrong? How does it affect others? Can it ever be justified?

I believe it's everyones right to kill themselfs. However, it is the cowards way out, especially because it's bound to have some effect on the people left back.
I don't respect people commiting suicide, but I respect the reason behind it. Well, usually anyways.

If you live in the US, I slap you if you want to commit suicide. People are suffering everywhere and you want to take your life becuase your 14 year old problems are too much to handle. You have an easy life and yet it is not good enough. It really sickens me. If you live in the third world, well, I guess it is better but still. If you have some kind of mental problem like deppresion, get help. This is for the people that don't do it on a moments notice. For those in a lot of pain, I.E. stuck under a log in the middle of nowhere while you are on a hike or something, I still don't think it is good. But that is just my humble opionion. Since most people who commit suicide are from generally richer countries (AFAIK) you just sicken me.

In my opinion, in general terms, suicide isn't a sign of cowardice but rather weakness.

Also, suicides can have a vast range of motives and reasons, to only very few do I believe have good reason. Such as certain situations of elderly people suffering from agonising and unrelenting neural pain.

I think it can be justified, as long is it isn't for a relitivly trivial reason that only a teenager would consider life-ruining.

Freakin' taking a bunch of pills or hanging your self is just stupid, shoot yourself, not that hard. Who cares if you break laws to get the gun at this point, YOUR ABOUT TO DIE!
