Warning: Violence and Large Image Sizes [1280x1580+]

People have wondered what DEV really is, and I was always at a loss to explain concisely. In short, it is my science fiction universe. I don't even remember when I started exactly -- it started out as a Soldat mod, inspired by the now-defunct Battletech universe. Over the years, I've created various media concerning DEV and its semi-central character, ERC-3, many of which you have already seen.

Here, I'd like to present my DEV comics. They might be somewhat confusing at the moment I'm writing this, as there are no such things as true protagonists or antagonists, but shades of gray is an element of DEV. I'll try to update as often as I can. Special thanks go out to Copperkat for font selections and recommendations; I couldn't have done it without you, kat.

I thought the excuse that it spawned from Soldat would be enough (besides the fact that indeed, quite a few other people also have posted unrelated artwork here without any ill consequences). Oh well, let the mods do as they see fit.

Nope, inking's just not my style. Most likely not going to color either.
I'm trying to make it less wordy...however, I'm more afraid of not getting the backstory through in the prelude. I actually have the 3rd and 4 th pages right here, but I'm cruelly holding them in reserve (ha ha?)

I don't think so. He calls that scientist one of "filthy Commonwealth grave robbers," after he killed him, and was alone, which means he has morals or principles.

How does being alone relate to him having values? Surely you don't mean the 'honorable 1v1' mentality, right?
