Vampires vs. Werewolves.
« on: October 07, 2007, 01:22:59 pm »
This is an idea that's been growing through my mind for a while; Vampires vs Werewolves; Hominis Nocturna vs Lycan; Undead Nightstalkers vs Mutated Nightstalkers.

I've got the basic idea down, I might even attempt this if I keep brainstorming.

The Basics:
Alpha Team: Vampires
Bravo Team: Werewolves
Delta Team: Humans
Charlie Team: Lycanthropic-Hemophiliacs

Bonuses:
Vest: Vampire Formula
Berserker: Full Moon Rage
Predator: Night Walk
Flamer: UV Raygun
Cluster Grenades: UV Bomb

As for weapons, I'm a little stuck. I was thinking about modern weaponry with some changes, such as UV/Silver bullet launching weapons, most of which will be dark (jet-black-ish) to fit the atmosphere of the mod.

Some major weapon changes:

Grenades: Silver Powder Bombs

M79: UV Grenade (weapon graphic would be blank, clip would double as actual weapon)

Knife: Silver Dagger

Chainsaw: Claw Thrash

Law: UV Light Blasted Silver Missile?

Deagles: One Silver and One UV Bullet-Firing Gun?

If you'd like to pass around ideas, feel free to. I really think this would be an interesting change for a mod. :)

Remember

Alpha = Charlie
Bravo = Delta

I like more the monsters vs humans =P with organic weapons... what about it? your actual weapons looks really nice for me

Oh jeez that's right. Well then, Delta would by Lycanthropic-Hemophiliacs and Charlie would be humans. :-X

I like that idea, Santa. It'd be perfect too, since launching a stake would take a lot of pressure-power. ;D

I decided to give this idea a try, so I'm starting on some WIPs.

MP5 Replacement: Mini 58

Chainsaw Replacement: Thrash

Knife Replacement: Silver Dagger

Deagle Replacement: Duel Fingermen

For the SOCOM you could use a .257 Revolver (it's up to you to see if it fires silver bullets or not.)

For the Ruger you could replace it with a lever action .22 rifle.

The AK-74 could be an automatic crossbow (like one similar to what Van Helsing uses.)

An alternative to the knife could be a cross with maybe a blade on the bottom of it to impale some vamps.

I have never drawn a crossbow before, but I like the idea.

Hush, I know it's terrible. :-[

Like I said though, I want it to be more modernized, and I'm not exactly sure if a crossbow would fit in. ???

Try making it more of a slightly-angled side view. Look up some of the other crossbows people have made for examples.

Well, the crossbow isn't like a single shot crossbow, it's gas operated with a drum clip.

.22? Use the Winchester, way bigger. Go with the .45, its sweeter.

That gun was used in the 19th century, The mod calls for modern weapons. Besides, labeling it Winchester or .44 isn't going to make a big  difference from .22.

Awesome idea. I ave a suggestion.
Just like on [EC]Trenchwars, thers a field commander, and it launches air strikes, well you could have something like that, instead of Field Comm. you could have something like "The Hunters" or somethign and it could launch different bots to kill certain teams of people. E.g: Hunters could launch Van Helsing against Vampires, or something which fires silver bullets at werewolves, etc.

But otherwise great idea! ;D

You can find me in the masturbation thread. At least that one is somewhat more interesting

He means...it makes you stronger, like a vampire. I think.
