I like how it's so easy to go at, you know? It's small, it's simple, yet quite a lot of people are playing it. It doesn't have any serious requirements to run, and it just works out well.

Oh, and how you're not totally the underdog even if you're not paying. That's really cool too. All in all, I think Michal made something great here =)

The completely unnecessary amount of violence and blood combined with the ragdoll physics. I am always amused by having a body being dismembered into several pieces from an explosion or heavy hitting guns like the Spas, sometimes in mid-flight and/or after the soldat is already dead, and then being bathed in blood in a bountiful dance of gory entertainment afterwards, only to have those pieces smack into a poly and then fall silent, waiting to respawn.

LAW blindshots.
The chainsaw.
Knife throwing (and ridiculous hits).
Grabbing a dead Soldat's one-hit primary and using it to spawn them.
Flag-throwing(!)
Last-second caps.
Taunts.
And, of course, /piss.

To me one of the things thats fun about Soldat is hearing ppl whine,because then you know your owning them.

The fact that it can be modded, we have some fun gamemodes (TW, Dodgeball)

Its the best 2d game i've ever played, addictive

I personally enjoy the newer players. A lot of people may think it to be stupid or something, but I enjoy seeing the newer players toning their skills so that one day they may match up to those who are already great players. That, and newbies don't ask very many questions in this game. :]]
