I also think that is socom is the "easiest" secondary to frag with. Comparing to the other 2 secondaries it is like a fight m79 vs barret. You cant win the most duels if the two players have the same skill.

nah its actually pretty hard to hit every bullet since you only have about 12, and you need at least half to kill. the Kill Clip ratio is like one of the lowest of autos (I think it behaves more like an auto than a semi because the ammount oh dmg dealt per bullet is less than a semi and the firing speed is closer to a auto, if you actually plot this somehow it would be closer to a auto.)

As you said, you can't really compare a secondary to a primary, so I wonder why you compare the socom to an auto...especially just going by the "kill/clip"-ratio is quite meaningless in this case. Just consider the reload and accuracy of autos and compare it to the reload and accuracy of socom - this comparison makes no sense, they're a completely different class.

Socom seriously owns, it packs quite a punch and reloads in extremely short time, plus the arc is easily learnable if you spend some time using it. I use both socom and knife, and both have their strenghts and weaknesses, but just saying that the knife is so overpowered and just acknowledging those who agree with you looks pretty foolish, imho.

you don't compare a secondary with a primary because you can have a primary and a secondary when you respawn. the primary is supposed to be better than a secondary because its the main killer.

Sooo... you say that knife is better than any primary BUT the primary is supposed to be better xDDD

What you have to realize is that every weapon is situational. The knife is better in some areas, whereas the other weapons in the game are useful in others. You have to argue quantity vs. quality, where the knife/any other weapon may be 3/5 in 5 areas of gameplay, but another weapon is 5/5 in 2 areas. Much of it is going to be opinionated, which is why people vote on this instead of argue about it. It's a democracy. you have to satisfy the majority of people instead of trying to get everything perfect. and most people are satisfied with the current knife balance. This could be proven with a vote, which i might just facillitate.

the thing is that there are far more situations that knife is better than a law for example
like rushing, running away. only thing law is good is hitting targets from far away. and people can easily dodge that.(unless they are being ambushed)

I think all the wepon balances are perfect. Exept for m79.. Guess thats just cuz its easy to handle. (cant be much helped)

knife kills aren't exactly too horrible atm.
BUT! The knife has flaws,no start up time, no reload, ect.
The knife is in the same catagory as the M79, if you nerf it, it will become crappy.
