Crysis Mod (BETA 2 RELEASED 19/11)[wip]

Beta 2
This beta includes Gostek-gfx, Interface-gfx, Sparks-gfx, Objects, weaponnames.txt, Weapons-gfx and sfx.

Changes from beta 1:
Added alternative weapons that are reseized(I haven't changed the size of the image so they might stick out or be miss aligned on the menu).

I've done a lot of sounds. Though the sounds such as explosions or loud sounds haven't been made yet as I haven't found a way to record them correctly(just listen to the TAC Launcher's fire sound or the shotgun sound to see what I mean).

A little about the mod:
Will cover most files. From the gosteks to the sounds. 
The powerups below have the Nanosuit voice when picked up.
Berserker kit = "Maximum Strength"
Predator kit = "Cloak Engaged"
Vest kit = "Maximum Armor"

Some of the below images ARE outdated.

Desaturate your XM8 please. The purple tint is all but Crysis.

I can do things like flames, explosion, gosteks-gfx, bonuses, weapons-gfx but because it's your first mod I want to see YOUR work in entirely mod or just how you can that at start, better and more creative is make sh1tty gfx by yourself and improve them step by step/version to version than help "directly" from another modder.

Audacity is best from freeware, just set "Stereo mix" (else can be "Mono mix") and press record button or shorter: P - pause, S - stop, R - record = at keyboard.

Henito Kisou I will try to make them myself then but If I or someone else sees that they look shitty then I'd prefer to  have someone else to do them.

But remember, to prevent overlapping dont make wepon size bigger than 17~16x??, when you do 18x?? weapons start little overlapping.

Dunno I think the Gauss Rifle is fine. I'll ad more color to the LAW later.

I haven't had any real issues of overlaping yet when testing the guns in Soldat.

Maybe Crysis is little based at another game and have different style but I think, there's some inspiration related to F.E.A.R. game :P

Pretty good so far, but there's a couple of problems. For one, the FY71 has too many random pixels sticking out. Also, whereas your shading looks pretty good, I think you're limiting yourself to too few colo(u)rs.

Both F.E.A.R. have supernatural and "normal" weapons and that's why they might seem similar.

The FY71 doesn't have random pixels. I added them because the gun has these things sticking out and I wanted to keep them.

You're right I use a limited numbers of color. I do not want to make them different so the palette stays the same except on a few areas.

You do realize that i use the same palette so it can't be more greyish.

The curve is changed and I've darkened all of the weapons.

BTW I have recorded a few sounds and it's kinda fun running and taking the powerups and hearing "Maximum Armor" ::)

Espadon I agree the FY71 isn't really right(but i kinda like it) and the MPX8 sucks a lot but I want to move forward with the mod and redo the guns I'm not happy with later.

I want your opinions(that's why I stated it above) even though it is kinda hard to bear with sometimes.

For example the Gauss rifle I like it while some think it's to big etc. It's hard to know what to do, do I listen to others or have it my way. You can't always please everyone.

Yes. I am aware that the LAW is crossing the menu border.

Is there a way to remove the numbers? I was thinking of doing the text within the weapon images.
