Statistics competition=camp=easy kills=get ranks faster=OMG! Disaster!

This is what would happen with a rank list, really. Some servers got its own ranking... use them if you want know how good are you, or try with yv3 statistic tool, it works really, very well.

This is what happened to this one game. They made a ranking list, depending on wins, and losses, if you win ur rating goes up if you lose your rating goes down. now people got it so high, that they dont even play anymore. and their was alot of people who had their rating high so I would say f11

Not particularly brilliant, mate. I used to play alot on leos realistic servers, where a large ranking system is set up and managed quite well. I played so seriously, and all I cared about was my stupid rank.. I'd do anything to stay alive and I'd get all the easy kills I could, even if it meant death to my team. I might've as well been on one of my own.

Rankings are great, no doubt about it. But it brings out the worst in players. I like to go and check out my rank every now and then, but I don't play according to it any more.

Ofcourse, that's just how I look at things.

Best ranking system I've seen uses the best scores from a set amount of matches during a period of time.

It's what World in Conflict currently uses, I believe. The last 10 matches which have your highest scores from the last 7 days count towards your overall score and rank. It actually encourages people to fight. Maybe someone would like to implement that into a ranking system for Soldat?

This idea would fail, because I believe that MM does not want to create stats system FOR ALL Soldat, when almost ALL 24/7 servers have their own stats or rankings list. If you mean by websites, there already is one.
