What does "Shoot dead" mean?

On the bot creator, it says "Shoot dead" and I would like to know what it means.

I guess it means if the bot will shoot at your dead body or not, just for fun (?)

Some bots with that set as "1" ("yes," instead of "0" which means "no") will continue to fire at the head of a killed enemy for a few seconds. Kinda weird but hey...

Shoot Dead Means
  -> In army, They shoot the deads because enemies maybe alive.
