Do you ever go on hunts?

For those of you that do not know, "hunting a player" is targetting a specific player on the enemy team and to kill them as many times as you purposely can. Players sometimes do this to prove their dominance over another player, mostly when provoked by some sort of negative talk.

So just tonight i was hunting some guy on alpha team named theasianboy or something. He decided he was going to talk trash, and so i jsut HAD to teach him a lesson. At the end, the score turned up 17-2 in my favor.

It's always fun to go on hunts of noobs, especially when you know youre better and especially if you win, and ESPECIALLY if it pisses them off.

I do this all the time, its just my way of talking trash, without typing a word, its considerably fun until they decide to leave, then you have to go back to 'normal' gameplay.

I personally love to win the word battle, so much more fun.

I usually just try and keep it cool, and that makes them more mad untill they leave the server because they are not getting the reaction they are looking for.

example: This weekend i was playing on some random ctf server. There was this one player who was going "noob" "camper" and tried to vote kick people because they were "hacking". Anywaiz, i just responded to him in a calm manner...when he said "noob" "noob" "camper" enough, i just responded "yeah, everybody on this server is a noob, camps and hacks, just deal with it", everyone else laughed and was "good one : D"...he was quiet untill the next round. When new round began he started it again with "lag"...so i said "yea we have lag too, this server has everything!!"...it went on and on for few more phrases and then he just left....win win for me.

Brute force and demoralizing death is the way to go, why waste your time chatting, we all have testosterone here (some may have a little less than they really should) and what does testosterone hate? being beat, words mean nothing, losing means everything especially when they have no control over it, losing will piss the guy off much more than reverse psychology.

It depends on what kind of person the opponent is...i like to confuse them by making them feel stupid because they cant think of anything to say. Sometimes the "hunting" may even make them spam more and try and constantly votekick you. In general, i try not to go down to their level.

LOL... how is it there level? how is it low? This is where i become confused... just because your singling out a target, doesnt mean your ''low'', its just a way to relieve stress and someone has volunteered (by whining) to become your stress reliever.

The more they spam the more you know they are becoming pissed, and when they try vote kick you know they are truly pissed when people see a whiner (for the most part) they dont pay attention to his vote kicks anyway because they know its just some damn 12 year old requesting everyone bow to his noobish needs.

It doesnt matter what kind of person they are... if they are an unnecessary whiner, then that means they hate to lose (prove me wrong) and what better way to take revenge than to make them lose.

When someone deserves a hunt in my opinion, I usually simpy start enjoying killing him more, and get angry when gets me. I don't think it's fun if your target does not "notice" you and agree to the war. Hunting players is very childish, but terribly fun! I usually change my nick before doing it though

I know what you mean, being cool when some guy tries to piss you off is a lot more effective than responsing "F**K OFF N00B!" or smth.

Yeah, huntings fun, but only when they notice and start getting pissed off..

On the other hand, making them look retarded is much more fun (when it works), and they won't 'not notice' it.

if they flame on me, yes, someday a dude named AsD start to say me trash, and i started to kill him... at the end (In a Teammatch server with +15 ppl) i end with ~300 kills I remember and him with ~150, i was pwning him all the time and flaming on him for 2 hours (No time limit). It wasn't fun, but i end with victory

Usually, what people will do is wait till a new round starts, then go after the player and count every time they kill them. by the second kill, the target will know whats going on.

The BEST way to get them riled is to keep counting, no matter what they say. If they say "that kill didnt count," dont say a word. just keep counting every time you kill them.

Sometimes, it will actually make you look good to the other players, since they see youre whupping this guy's ass and hes whining about it.

At the start of the next round, tally up the score for both of you and tell everyone what it was, and rub the noobs face in it.

That, my friends, is the joy of the hunt.

Yes I do. Why, because it is funny and can be the best thing I usually think of if I am bored. But I usually just target someone completely random.

I sometime target someone that I "accidentally" killed 3 times in a row. Or a very skilled player.
But is usually that people targets me rather than I target them..

I hunt when the target is a confirmed female. I then pounce on the victim, ravaging her with my superior skills over and over so that she'll admire me for my clearly masculine nature and leet reflexes.

Then I light a cig.
