Barret considered a nooby gun

Ok, recently I have seen, that people are likening the barret to the m79, in terms of a noob weapon, and not taking much skill.

Sure it may not be as hard to master as say the deagles or ruger, but I certainly don't think it is as easy to pick up as the m79 what with movement acc. the tremendous bink, and a longer reload than the m79.

You can't kamikaze with the barret,  you cannot barret jump, or spawn kill as easily with it.

So why is it considered so nooby, just from over use?

It isn't considered nooby its only nooby cause you kill people and it's one shot so they die, they get pissed an start whining and start to call you nooby for using it..I dont find it a noob weapon.

People who say it's a nooby weapon are weakings who can't take psychological punishment. I mean, the Barrett's damage is 6 parts psychological and 4 parts physical.

Learn to stalk a sniper. Easiest way is to follow a friend under cover until he gets popped, then jump out and blast the sniper.

Yes and yes. It is, after all, point and click. So it is easy. But, it is also hard to use it effectively and not get tons of deaths also. Its how its used, not the gun.

Yeah as kagesha said, the people who say its nooby mostly are the ones who either A: cant master it or B: cant counter-act /dodge it or C: they are just so bored with it they need something new (which you cant really argue with them, we all get bored of weapons, like im bored of the m79)... sure the barrett is easy when you are sitting, but it becomes more complicated as you move or fall and bink is a bitch, took me longer to become good at it than the m79 but now i can kill about 8/10 shots, so i like it

It's really only easy if your on the ground. When your in the air, it's about 8x harder to hit what your aiming at. Also you have to contend with 'bink'. Also the reload time is huge, it's bolt action, which also makes you vulnerable, AND it's not very good vs multiple opponents..

It isn't noob weapon... there is no noob weapons anyway (m79 is often called n00b but it's just overused)

It used to be quite a cheap weapon, but since the >1.3 nerfs it has gotten more respectable. However, in public servers every weapon is considered a noob weapon..

I think the cheapest weapon is the LAW, I always hit a EFC outside of my screen(like 70-90 ish meters).

it could be just skill, but if LAW is used efficiently, it PWNs.

You can't dodge a bullet. >.> You can only move before the bullet shoots. Thats just dodge the big "TARGET" on you're head... Well only if they have laser scope.

Why do laser scope? It pretty writes:
"WARNING WARNING YOU ABOUT TO BE SHOT!!!"
all over it... But all over the SMALL dot it shows. >.> I guess it ain't that notice-able.

I find myself hating barret, because of the playstyle of the barreters. You have to chase after a guy who is constantly on the run around the map, stopping only for a split second to take his shot on you. If he miss or you bink him, he's just racing away once again, untill he gets another opportunity.

The same goes for M79. I cant stand their playstyle.

i my selft hate RUGER  and barret cause ruger is only a backup weapon and barret is anoying went a guys who is like 70 metros away shots u and kill u, but went i use it IT FU/KING ROCKS!!!!! so im ok with barret BUT RUGER GTFO STUPID WEAPON
