Its kind of hard to explain, but schools computer have limits on what you can do with the internet access.  You browse the web with Internet Explorer but you can't use it with certain programs like proxies or through multi-play games.  It's the same for me here, I can't receive any connection from the lobby and I don't see any servers pop up.

This belongs in Need Help?/Report Bugs! section.

Nope, sorry, can't help.

Your school proxy/firewall most likely only allows requests to port 80 through, and they have to be HTTP requests.

There's likely nothing you can do, this is why your school has those restrictions in the first place

Grab a fire extinguisher and spray in the holes in the back of the computer! quickly!

Actually you can search somewhere for some software to get around the security, our school has some particularly tough security and it got around the stuff they had.

It would be very hard to get that stuff to work for games though

An http-tunnel is the likely solution, but you need a second computer or some sort of server to decode your net traffic. Then again, you are in school so sit down and study! Lol. You should have no probs playing local games with friends on the lan.

Just remember, studying and being an intellectual is fun. If ya don't study, you'll end up working for McVomit. Hehe

Only thing to do at my school is play games. Firing up the LAN with a 12 player racing game, is what makes school fun.

We can't play games on the internet either at school, so we have a TV and a couple of consoles to play on. Great way to spend your lunch, though the PE teacher isn't very supportive of it, as we spend all our time sitting down then.
