Diablo 2 Interface [reg]
« on: July 13, 2006, 03:41:06 am »

What do you think?

A % of health and jetpack fuel needs to be used, the interface program wont work the way i want it to, to recreate the diablo 2 hp/mana look.

Please put tags in the topic title next time and indicate if users need to be registered to use the interface. Thanks.

1. It is possible to do.
2. You could have tried harder on this seriously, like i could make it 400% better in 30 minutes.

Heres what to do:
-Set the main interface BG as health.bmp
-Make sure the bg has the hp/mana circles empty
-open up a image editor and get the red and blue circles, and save the red one as health-bar.bmp and the blue as jet-bar.bmp.
-open diablo and grab a green (fumulating?) potion and put it in one of the slots, then grab a screen dump, and get the potion image add a lime bg and rename it Nade.bmp. Now get the yellow explosion potion and do the same you did for the nade, and name it cluster-nade.bmp
-in diablo, make sure the options panal (you have it closed on your interface) is open, then just get the bg colour with a dropper and make the options panal 1 colour (for the weapon names)
-open up interfacemaker, and open your project, set health-bar and jet-bar to Vertical
-place them in the appropriate areas.

Congrats. You're done! (you should also get a back.bmp)

I spent so much time in making this guide, please use it.

Oh and 13579, you're sig is WAY too big.

I did all of your suggestions except the health and jet bars, like i said, they dont move like they should. here is screenshots to show.

Like I said, I tried it, and it wont work.

Here's the finished screenshot with cluster nades in inventory.

Make the stamina bar the jet bar. Makes more sense, you can make the ammmo bar the mana globe.
I guess you could make the exp. bar the armor bar.
You need to get a screen with empty globes for the base, and then make the "fill" be indicative of your health/ammo. I don't know how to get it to do that. Try messing around, the interface maker does have a function which lets you see how the interface will look at intermediate levels of fillage. If you can't get it to work, I'm fine with the text on the globes.
Anchor the weapon name on the far left side of the options box.
If you can, put this image for the right-click skill, since it looks more jet-boot-like:

Holy sh** thats the hottest interface I've seen made by a person. The nades look like potions lol. What if there is a server that alows more than 5 nades. It wouldn't fit on the thing, you should fix that. Really very nice job.

I like how it looks, but if only it was transparent.

It creates a big blindspot.
There are other worlds than these

I've got a solution... Open it in paint and make the globe upside-down (flip vertical) then spin it 180 degrees and plop it in place, it *should* work? oh, and get a screen of the globes when theyre empty, so it doesnt look weird. You'll also have to edit out the hand from the blue and red globes.

I did some research (writing it down this time) and posted it here. I also made an example for you :) (I didnt think about size when I made it so its huge, but its just to show how U can do it.. all other Icons are scatterd around as I tested it mainly in interface maker) "testage" folder in the archive goes to the Custom-interface folder

if you go back and forth between those pictures for a minute, you'll see that his is quite different.  The only similarity is the fact that the same two figurines are on each side, but they're cut out and shaded differently.  There are tons of minor differences in the middle of the interface, and more.

Don't be so quick to accuse others.

Wow, nice interface ... but isnt it big ?

92% of teens have moved onto hip-hop. If you are part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your signature

Holy crap, that's an awesome interface.  That would rule if you used it with Ivan's Heretic mod.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.
