Forwarding ports

Do you need a server (not like soldat server, but big server u buy at bestbuy) to forward ur ports ???
i made a bunch of scripts, but none can join my server cause the ping is 9999.

No you don't.  Port forwarding is done in your router (the "thing" that plugs into your DSL or cable modem)

Unless his modem has routing capabilities built in, as is becoming more common these days.

If your modem can support more than one computer connected to it at once, you'll need to do port forwarding as described in the manual.
