There just will be that kind of weapons, or there will be pistols, knifes and normal rifles?
I want to see i he ads that tank, or whatever is....

From what I can see, these 3 weapons are ones that have been made just for that particular "Heavy" class robot...They probably aren't the only ones available for him (if you look closely you can see he is holding both the EMP cannon and the Flak cannon which suggests that we will have the option to give these robots a combination of 2 different weapons

From what I can tell from the artwork the teams will be Humans vs Mutants.. although that is not definate.. Don't quote me on it. Each team will have multiple classes...

Hacker - can remotely control robots and machines from a computer terminal (basically geeks that live underground, probably weak and bad with weapons)

Recon - light soldier, probably no armour and probably fast moving

Soldier - full armour... basically the medium class

Heavy - Large mechanical humanoid, slow moving and cannot jump - probably controlled by hackers or might be a seperate character class.

Tanks and other vehicles/machines will be available above ground

Please note, this is entirely speculation and none of this is set in concrete or definately true... this is just what I have put together with the information provided.

Uh! Well, i love those ideas... i'm really nervious... but wait... i have another question
 - When you will join a game, you select your team, right? And then the class, or you go ''evolving'' since de game continues? Recon should be snipers, and soldier, normal soldiers... right? Then Heavy, are like tanks :P and Hackers like spy's Hide and run... That can be nice... :]

EDIT: We will need to pay?

I cannot answer any of those, I have given you all the information I have. The game is still heavily in development. - All I am doing is gathering info from MM's blog and Sigvatr's blog and putting them together and I am in no way involved with the development of this game.

For now we can just assume that it will be free like soldat.. but will probably have registration-only features like soldat does.

Ahh... so we will pack a weapon (wich we will select) and then another close comabat.... like primaries and secondaries in soldat...
Well its better, more reallistic, because if you carry two heavy weapons, you will be a turret :P

i'm just wondering how those ground,sky,etc.. textures would be on soldat.. (not for people/guns,just enviorments)

(gamplay of soldat will be totally different from this i think)

I see a obvious thing... the modding will be really hard... and these is not going to be like in soldat because MM made it really nice and detailed...
And the atmosphere looks realistic... 2d but realistic!

Modding might even be easier...I mean, bigger size means more detail for both gostek and weapon modding.

Just so you guys know, Sigvatr (Soap) is the one doing all of the character graphics you see in this thread.  The concept art is done by someone else.  MM designed/created/invented the game and is responsible for the design of the game overall.  It is his ideas behind all of it, but he's focusing on the coding and letting others create the graphics after he explains his visions to them.

Well, there's very little you can do with the current soldat gostek (at least, not much that will be big enough to be noticible and still manage to look decent) and the link dead ones would probably be easier for pasting over body parts from other game's characters. Plus...as stated before, they look feckin' awesome as is is.

And I don't see why modding would HAVE to be based on futuristic weapons...

The lighting technique is both ingenious and devastatingly sexy.

The 'fog' and ambient lighting are actually mind-blowing. This is the first game I have been excited for since Warcraft III.

Ok but thats a war... with some futuristic ambient, so will be harder mod it to the past...
So... Soap is making the graphics? Wow... and i seen on Sigvatr blog, a game called Cybor War... What is?
Also, ingame you will swich the team? I want to select the mutants :P
