hey guys.
i dont no if this has happened 2 you but its happened 2 me.... AND IT REALLY PISSED ME OFF!
well 1day i was playing a great game on INF, when all ov a sudden i saw my name (<Chunky>) pop up on the side of my screen saying " <Chunky> and joined the alpha team".
It pissed me off cause; I'v bin using that name 4 the last year and a half; he was a noob bring fame 2 me; and he continued 2 use ma name 4 an hour!

i'd like 2 hear ur throughts on this. has this happened 2 u? (if it has u'll no how agrovaiting this is)

btw it wasnt sum inosence noob playing 4 the 1st time, cause the guy using ma name sed "this is wat ya get 4 killin me" (thats wat a call a saw loser)

It is outrageous, you should write a very angry letter to your local council explaining your distress, and maybe you might get some compensation.

If it's on a public, you shouldn't really pay too much attention to it. Most of the players there won't be remembering names and certainly not the ones of the bad players. When name-stealing occurs in the clan scene, it'll become more annoying.

A good tip is to choose your nicknames wisely. Try to be unique and leave out things like 'ninja', 'dark', 'shadow' and 'super' (those things are really silly

).

PS: Try to type in a proper way, the 'u', '2', '4' and 'r' are very annoying to read.

Chunky is a very popular nickname for anything/anyone anywhere, not just soldat

Almost no one would add the 0125 but me, try and do things like that to keep your name your name.

Actually, 0125 is some punchline in an inside joke me and my friends had, I can't remeber exactly what happened, but I remeber it almost made me wet myself from laughing.

I used to play under nickname Sidewinder, Seraph, Chemical, Djinn and alot more not so complicated names. Sometimes when I'd register somewhere, my name would allready be taken, and i would constantly see people using my nick ingame. No one uses echo_trail, so I'm now a happy man

Heh, I have to be the only Soldat player alive named "Kern". So that's what my nick is. Kern.
Sometime I'm going to change it to something like /(-=Kern=-)\....
That looks pretty. =]

But I do know that Kern is a last name...

If your name gets "stolen" its your fault for choosing a name that isn't original, since most of the time its just someone that had the lame idea for a name you did....

Oh my god, like, people steal my name all the time, it's terrible really, oh yes.

I guess I should change mine to PANZERKAMPFWAGEN then they'll leave me alone!
