Whenever I join a server I get 'BattlEye Server: *myname* : WinAPI Hook #3
*myname* has been kicked for BattlEye violation

About 10 minutes after a BattlEye update.
3 servers in a row.
I have Vista Home Edition
Only programs running were FireFox, Windows Live messenger and usual processes.

And only on gather servers, I dont get it at all. Could you help me? Running programs were mIRC, uTorrent plus some againts virus. OS XP Pro.

and it was 5 minutes after BE uptade.

I'm also getting this as of this evening, except mine is #5 instead of #3. Nothing has changed on my setup whatsoever: w2k sp4, nothing running in the background except avast and firewall.

Do you run Sunbelt Personal Firewall? At the moment this causes the problem.

Yes, I am running Sunbelt...

However I've switched it off and tried again - same thing.

As far as I know simply switching it off doesnt help. You would need to uninstall it.

Read my edit. Its caused by your firewall.

coz it worked a few days ago.

The Kerio/Sunbelt firewall uses a WinAPI hook that the new BE version is picking up.

As I said I am looking into a solution.

I had the same thing, but #2, caused by Xfire.
I just disabled Xfire in-game and all works fine now

That would be the Direct3D Hook error you're thinking of.
