does anybody hate the mp5s power because i think the mp5 is over powered because of the rate it fires and the power of it it kills with near simplicity and its also a very widely used gun so it ticks me off when I'm running for the enemy flag and get raped by a bunch of mp5er's

Are you aware that it was actually nerfed from 1.3.1? During that version it had more damage and a faster reload. Right now I think that the MP5 is actually near perfectly balanced.

Mp5 is balanced, no doubt about that.  I'd say it could even use a tiny bit extra damage even.  It's purely situational really, as with all weapons.  Not to mention, its small clip burns up in a matter of seconds, so that's a huge killer for it.

yes but that is what makes it such a good killer because of how fast it unloads it clip into you but i guess it losses allot of its acuricy at range

If that was changed, it would be made completely useless.

If you are having a problem with it, try staying away. It has a very short range, almost as short as shotgun. Just run backwards and try to dodge.

No, it is already fine. MM saw this as a little problem and lowered it down a bit. It is fine, the power of the weapon is in the person's hands.

Barrett and M79 is not overpowered BECAUSE they are built to be one shot kill.

The only gun I really really don't like is probably the Ruger.  Not because it is overpowered, but because in the hands of an expert, 1 on 1, you're dead meat.

The MP5 is very deadly in close ranges as most SMGs are...  Just stay away from it.  Pump rounds into em from a distance, thats what I do with my Steyr!

The M79 and Barret are not overpowered.  I own most Barreters, cause I bink the crap out of em.  I am even more proficient against M79ers, I used to use it all the way through 1.2.1 and I know how it works.  Just STAY AWAY from it.  Stay out of close quarters when up against an M79 whore.

Youre probably annoyed cause hk can match the ruger's kill speed.

I mean, if you give a mp5 user a chance to get close enought to be on point blank, you will be dead on a couple seconds.

I absolutely DO NOT agree, we don't have to talk about this, but if you really think it is a nooby weapon, think before you say it. Say it to Mancer's face.

All you really have to do is keep your distance against the HK-MP5. I love the ruger because I am good at it and I know the strategy on using it against autos.

The point is (I agree with you "The Owls"), MM already resolved this problem. This topic should be locked because if MM lowers the power more, then it will be so weak, that no one will use it.
