WHY IS MY PING SO HIGH!!!!!!

My ping is very high!
I dont know why...
Im downloading nothing...
Im not capped...
Why?
And...
I live in Aus... but still get ing kicked in aus server

Please Help!

Fellow Aussie ! Are you running any programs whilst playing soldat? Would it have anything to do with your network? e.g are you sharing your network at home?

yep, im through a router...
but, the other computers arent running anything
i also dont have anything on (apart from Soldat)
nothing wrong with network
but ive noticed that most of the aus servers have turned foreign

I think its because your computer is too old. on my network pc i have 13 processes running and when i play soldat i get about 1500 ping and about 5 fps. when i play soldat on my laptop i get about 80 to 150 ping and 90 to 200 fps.
