it looks very good. i dont play DM so im not too sure about the layout.
only the part below the base looks a bit weird. i dont think you got the desired 3D effect.

Map looks great. I love that tunnel background. Nice tower. The middle looks like it might be a sprayfest, however.

Also, the hosting you used is really slow. Can you please use better, specifically for Soldat mapping hosting instead?

Wow Soldat maps are becoming as commonly made as Worms Armageddon maps, and anyone who's played that game knows how easy it is...

The name suits the map. The map looks pretty oddballish, but it doesn't look like it was given the time of day to make a good deathmatch layout. Well, at least it's rather an offthewall way to make a deathmatch map...Looks more suited for some sort of flag match.

I like the lava though. Nice redish orangey effect. Asthetics look fine. Umm, I don't think this deserves 4 stars though :-X. Sorry, but 4 stars is reallly being generous as maps of great quality are voted as 4 stars. In all actuality, I would vote this a two and one-half (21/2), well rounded up to a three. No meaning to bash or nothing.. the map isn't crap, but it's not excellent. I like your little castle/villa thingy.

What you could do to make this more deathmatch friendly would be to add some sort of islands/obstacles in the open space although that might make the map awkward unless done convenienly well...Or at least another random path in there, but some way to block inevitable spray in the open area. Not too drastic of a change would be fine. I guess this would be alright for a zombie map.

Same except for the Castle-like scenery.  It stands out too much in its surroundings.  Re-shade it to a darker color like the entire map.

Am I the only one who's missing a piece of scenery?
For signatures, you are allowed only one image in your signature which may not be wider and taller than 300 and 125 pixels, and may not be over 20kB in file size. No BMPs are allowed.

I kinda like the shading. It makes it stand out, and it makes the map better looking. Its sorta like a lost castle (not to be childish ::) ).

Well, it is a nice enough Deathmatch map, but the layout is a bit odd for it. Still, I think it's decent enough. I'm getting the urge to waypoint this... and I just might do so...  :P
