FEATURES:
- great fire, explosion, spark and smoke effects
- detailed gostek of a future soldier
- very stylish grayscale interface
- awesome set of futuristic weapons
- crazy sounds (some unique)



Interface layout is originally by FrozenFire550. Many thanks to him for letting us take and edit his HeavyWalker interface!



NOTE! The installation is created to install Warzone in Soldat/Mods folder so that you can easily run it with Soldat Mod Starter.

Yeah, you can expect a realistic version later. Haven't had the time to even balance the normal mode yet. I'm also building a website for all our previous and future projects.

Well I need comments on the sounds and weapons effects(bullets,  muzzleflashes etc). Tell us how can we improve them and so on.

NOTE: THIS MOD IS MADE FOR PLAYING WIHOUT BULLET TRAILS!! (I think slayer forgot to say that)

As far as sound effects go, they're good and suit the mod well... although it would be nice if ALL the weapon sounds were replaced... I cant help but notice some of the reloading sounds from original soldat aren't replaced.. (spas + deagles mainly)

It is really fun to play both on an offline.. it has a real arcade-style feel to it which is great.

The installer is a good feature too, with the option to choose to install the interface and save alot of manual unzipping and copying files etc to install it.

yeah I know we haven't replaced all sounds. We were in a hurry to release this version and just a cople of days before that we decided to make different guns. Thats the main reason. v1.2 or higher (depends on how many stuff we change) will definately have more sounds.

Working on the weapon mod now. Please do suggest what to do with the weapons. I can't do it all by myself thatts why we released it in the first place. We need some impressions of other players on what weapon to nerf etc...

I haven't finished my personal tweaks to the wmod, but I think some of the guns are too weak. Like, one clip is good enough to take down 1 person with most guns. That doesn't help when you have 2-4 people coming at you. And I didn't like the ruger at all...it's basically a Barrett with very little damage.

I like it. Nice and smooth, though a bit too smooth for my liking. Could you exaggerate the shading more, or perhaps get some directional shading going? Right now it feels kinda like pillow shading a little, just a little.

In any case, I downloaded it and plan to run it the next time I play Soldat.

The flag capture sound effect reminds me of something in Pokemon.  Like Ash just won a battle.  I know it sounds weird, but it doesn't fit along with the rest of the sound effects.

The Shotgun and the Ruger are too powerful.  Same could go for the new Barrette that fires a rocket and has a delay.  These three weapons kill in the arena and they are the only weapons I ever see on the kill log when I play off-line.  The HK-Mp5 slightly needs more power.  As for the Ruger, leave the speed, but reduce the damage.  Speed affects a weapons damage.  Same for the Shotgun.  The range on the Deagles are ineffective.  I hardy can ever kill anyone with that range.  And most of the time, bots tend to accidentally kill themselves with it because of the speed.  Speed it up and the damage amount is fine.  Everything else is fine.

The gosteks are quite big, but nice.  The armor looks like the ones that soldiers from Gears of War would use.  But I think the blood color is unrealistic and is too big.  Normally, you would only see so much blood on a screen.  But because of this new size, the entire screen is filled with it and glitches the game, for me.  Maybe because I'm just using an old system.

Overall, this really is a great mod and is the reason why it rests in my archive vault.

You mean like adding more light on some parts? that's nothing hard, but how do you mean directional, cuz i used same shading style for each weapon (more lightness on the top of the barrel shaped parts), just few plait parts are pillow shaded if i'm right

I mean like MZ's Soldat Evolved mod. You don't need to be as drastic as him, just give the weapons a slight sense of light coming from one direction and use it to enforce the feeling of depth.

Could you guys please be so kind and comment more on the weapon balance. I'm trying to balance it out to perfection. El_Spec thanks for the comments, I just thought the deagles would be overpowered with more speed. I'll see what I can do about the other weapons.

I like the Microgun, weapons suits to almost all player styles, specific atmosphere, not so colorful but good designed.

Because when i trying to make a custom-interface from this files, it doesn't work.
When i copy-paste it to interface-gfx at soldat folder, it doesn't work too!

You have all interface files in Interface-gfx folder. Just copy and paste without Guns folder into your Soldat/Interface-gfx.

I am MCLOVIN' the armor for the character, I changed the names for all the bots, and it made the mod perfect. I put the bots into squads, like Alpha, Bravo, etc.

The gun sounds and the guns themself are great! I love this mod!

STOP USING FILEFRONT!!! you and Espadon both man, get a website like me at webs.com.  It's seriously easier than filefront.  What I do is i just upload my .zips and .rars to my website and put links on my site as well as on my interface page. that's why people have trouble getting Espy's interfaces, Filefront Blows!!

It helps if you look at the OP's date. Filefront was one of the best places to host at the time and nobody thought it would go down.

Yelling at dead bodies doesn't help.

Hello people, I'm baack!

I haven't been on forums for quite a long time now, last few years soldat hasn't been of my interest at all. Don't hope I'll be making any new mods, I'll be here just for fun, I'll get more into forum discussions, I guess.

Anyways, thanks for keeping this updated (for reuploading). My system totally crashed and I lost all my data including all I made for soldat cuz didn't back it up. And my filefront account probably expired... Now I have to check out other topics.
