Joining server after internet d/c

So, sometimes, my internet disconnects. Most of the time its when im playing soldat, but it does it at other times aswell, so im not sure if soldat is the problem. It says "Connection Problem" then "Connection Timeout" it takes me out of the server automatically. The problem is that when it has re-connected, it wont let me join the server i was on for 2-3 minutes, but i can join any other server. Does any1 else have this?

<FliesLikeABrick> an experienced person online told you to call them and mention that it might be packet loss

This might be a seperate issue FLAB, caused by lossy internet, then BE banning him for not responding.

If it happens on every server constantly and consistantly at the same time interval, it's what you said it is though.

This is normal, honestly, i go through it too. The perks of dial up (which i hope your talking about) usually when you are disconnected from dial up it means someone is calling your house phone... or you just cant connect to the central computers at the time, to which you have to reestablish that connection. It may seem like it happens more in games because you play games longer than you browse the internet... at least thats my case, maybe yours too.

The whole cant rejoin the same server you were just in for however long, i cant really say i go through that everytime but sometimes i do, and usually that means the server banned me for a certain amount of time because i disconnected and usually when i disconnect my ping skyrockets right before im fully disconnected (ping restrictions in servers).

This really isnt based on fact, just my personal experiences.

Yeah, I had this happen to me once. I did something complex, changed the hosts file to make a random domain point to the server I wanted to join, and then I could join again, but the IP of the server still wouldn't work.

Then it's just your internet failing.

The d/c isnt the problem, its the fact that i cant join the server afterwards for a while, but browers etc work...

This happens to me
I usually just restart soldat or go on another server for a while then it works fine after.
