Can't enter some threads.

Like it says. My browser just chunks away and makes absolutely no progress. Like this one, for instance. This happens on just about every computer I try, and I haven't the slightest idea of why it would happen. Any ideas?

1) Can you be a bit more descriptive about what happens?  Screenshots, perhaps?
2) try a different browser, besides IE7, and see what happens

Same with you, can you explain more ? what browser do you usually use?

IE7's the only browser I have, and I've only used IE. Also, there isn't much to show screenie-wise. I wait and wait, sometimes like 5 minutes, and yet the browser just continues to try to load the page with no results; it just constantly shows the board page.

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.9. Like O.R.I.O.N. said, there's nothing to take a screenshot of. The page just fails to load. No error messages, except the one you usually get when a request times out. It's quite a rare occurance though, maybe nothing to do with the forums. Maybe my connection just goes funny for a minute. My ISP is Comcast.

ORION, is your ISP comcast or one of their affiliates as well?  I've heard of a number of people having trouble getting to various sites on MM's server, and almost all of them are on Comcast.

I just had it happen to me then, and we don't have Comcast in Australia.

If this only started in the past 24-48 hours, it is fixed now.  An upstream DNS server used by the forums server was responding extremely slowly to some/most requests.  I've switched it to use the secondary server as the primary now, and things seem back to normal.

Please let me know if your problem appears to have gone away

I've got Comcast, and I haven't had any problems in the past few months at all.
