well its a custom computer so does that change anything? and i heard vista was bad for gaming so that is why I'm changing to xp because it takes less processor speed.
you'll probably take more advantage from Vista's DX10 than XP using up less system resources.
Just so you know, Vista SP1 is comming out in a month or so that addresses a lot of issues. And if you want to play the most modern games you'll probably take more advantage from Vista's DX10 than XP using up less system resources.
ok. so my new computer has vista. im going to change it to xp but when i talked to my dad he said it was harder than what i normally do. i have done upgradeing operating systems but not backwards. my dad says i need all the drivers for all the parts in the comp and the recovery disk. along with the windows vista disk(Why?). can someone give me a tutorial or something to downgrade?
Bja888 I am put off by your ignorance, since you are usually so knowledgeable about these kinds of things. Service pack 1 is fixing a large variety of issues with vista, including compatibility and performance.
