Extracting sounds from Warcraft III

So I have Warcraft III and The frozen throne expansion. I would like to make a fantasy-ish mod but I need the sounds. Now I don't wanna use Ivan's sounds but I noticed that War3 has plenty of em. I just need help with extracting them, does anybody have a clue on how to do that?

Note: I tried with some programs but it didn't wok very well.

uh... Slayer said to me to tray to find some files with special extension, was .pk or something similar, if you find some like .pk or similar, click on change the name of the file and put 'name'.rar/.zip (or zip or rar, what you use)

no, these are mpq archives. There are some programs that can handle them but I'm getting all sorts of errors.
mpq is blizzards  proprietary archive format.

I bet there are some official tools for Warcraft III you can download as there are a lot of mods for that game.
