Stream Demo Recording

I wish that we could stream the Demo Recording to a wesite..so soldat players could see whats going on before they get into the server.

yes, a good idea. And instead of having to open soldat first to spec like Raithah said, you could just open the stream on the soldat server list and see whats up. Yeah, this is an extremely good idea, and unique too. GJ BlackPowerFi.

This idea was originally for a security log sort of thing. If someone were to report a hacker, you could go back in the logs to a certain time, find his name, and then ban him. Of course, you would also need to know the persons IP adress, so that would have to be implemented as well.

I like the idea, but this would probably take along time for MM to code and debug, and might never happen, but the idea is great nevertheless.

Interesting, although I see a better application of this as making the demo stream so then you can watch it in "real time" from your client without being connected to the server as a player, just like an online radio(in concept).

Coincidentally, I had something along the lines of this idea while I was in bed one night... no kidding.

Sounds alot like my SoldatTV (HLTV Rip-off) idea... where you have one person spec a game, and as many people as you want connect to the 1 person whos spectator to prevent lag in the server.

Sorry because i'm taking up this old topic, but are you thinking do this? because it's a great idea, like a SoldatTV server that connect to SoldatServer at Spec, the players all connect to SoldatTV server on Spec, sound fine to Spec the finals match of tournaments and leagues
