Let's not be jealous over those who make internet their lives. When they grow up they'll get mighty jobs in the IT-sector and make feckloads of money.

Not so many of those actually know enough about IT stuff to get a job. Many of them just play games and go to forums. Who would pay you for doing that?

The Gaming industry needs beta testers and such, that can pay. But I highly doubt that you can do that for a living.

Well, instead of internet, I have been drawing, and my art skills have increased by fifteen points so far!
And I bought Guitar Hero Three, and it can;t run on my computer, so I just use the guitar to make crappy games to work with it and bring it to my friends to play two player.
On a lighter side, I DO kill real people now as a trained FIB agent, not to be confused with FBI, FIB stands for Future Idiots of biatchocracy.
